Love does not hold grudges
The Hatfields and the Mccoys had a feud that lasted so long so long that no one could remember how it started. Somebody done somebody wrong. We know what happen to Romeo and Juliet in the Shakespeare play. Holding a grudge those not do anybody any good. It usually hurts the one holding the grudge the most. The opposite of holding a grudge would be forgiveness. Jesus said that we are to forgive 70 x 7 times, meaning every time. The Lord's pray ask God to forgive as we forgive. If you do not forgive, it hinders your prayer life. Life is too short to hold a grudge. Forget it and move one. Do not bring up every perceived wrong when you are upset, you will only ruin a relationship. Ephesians 4:32 And be you kind one to another, tender hearted, forgiving one another even as God for Christs sake hath forgiven you. Love will hardly even notice when others do it wrong. Have you noticed that the same habits that you think are cute when you a feeling loving will drive you crazy when you are upset. Do not major on the minors. Love will make you see people in the best light. Look at others through the eyes of Jesus and you will never be able to hold a grudge.
love is not irritable or touchy or easily provoked
Have you ever been around someone that makes you feel like you are walking on eggshells when you are around them. Someone with a chip on their is hard to be around. If someone says something that bothers you stop, take a breath, and respond, do not react. Their is a possibility that they were having a bad. Maybe you heard it wrong or they did not mean it the way you you heard. Even, if they did mean to offend, consider the source. Maybe that is just their nature. Life is too short to go around being offended all of the time . It is not good for you. Usually the person that offends never realizes that you are offended. You may need to talk them and straighten things out before you loose a friendship over a misunderstanding. Oscar the grouch is a great sesame street character, but would not be fun to live with. Remember, the saying, If mama ain't happy ain't nobody happy. Mom, You set the tone for the day for all of those around you. Try to send them off with a kind word and a good day. When my kid's were small and I would complain about them being bad all day, my Mom would ask me how do you feel today. She was right, I was the one who set the tone by waking up in a bad mood and the kid's caught my mood. That is when I started waking up early to have my quiet time before any one else got up to study my bible and pray.

Love does not demand it's own way
I. never realized that i had this problem until I did not get my own way. I was the baby girl of my family. Daddy's little girl, and I got my way a lot. I was teacher's pet, nurses's pet and even Preacher's pet because I really respected these positions. I got my way a lot. I am married to a man who spoils me rotten, he puts my needs before his own. I get my way a lot. But when a crisis came and my Mon was very sick in the hospital my big sister and I disagreed on what we needed to do. I did not get my way and I was shocked. I had a plan, it was a perfectly good plan. Later as I was complaining to Mark as we drove away, Mark stopped the truck and told me that everyone wants to help and they did not have to do it my way. Man, I hate it when he is right. So, I learned a lesson, but I still have a long way to go I still think that my ideas are good, but just maybe I need to listen to your way and maybe try to compromise or even.....do it your way. Yikes!
Mary s Song
I met a Lady named Mary at the November Swap and was thrilled to see her a her husband again. They are a very sweet and generous couple. I was talking to her Sunday afternoon and told her about my journal and new Blogging adventure. She said it reminded her of her favorite song. Then she sang it to me with tears in her eyes. Her mother had died when Mary was 20 and when she went through her stuff, she found her Mother's love and legacy. If you are blessed and still have a living parent, call them and tell that you love them . If, you are a parent consider writing a journal. The song is Fine us Faithful and here are some of the words. We are pilgrims on a journey of the narrow road and those who have gone before us line the way cheering on the faithful, encouraging the weary Their lives a stirring testament of God's sustaining grace
Oh may all who come behind us find us faithful May the fire of our devotions light their way may the footprints that we leave lead them to believe and the lives we live inspire them to obey oh may all who come behind us find us faithful
After all our hopes and dreams have come and gone and our children sift through all we have left behind
may the memories they uncover and the truths that they discover become the light that leads us to the road we each must find Oh may all who come behind us find us faithful.

Senior love at swap meet
I am sitting across from a senior couple, snowbirds. He is 80 and she is 79 and had heart sugery in July. They have been married 58 years. She is cold. She is all wrapped up with a blanket and hooded jacket and overcoat. He is selling car parts, old oil cans and other things that I did not recognize. When she gets to cold, she goes to the car and turns on the heater. When she leaves, he sneaks over here and buys something that he thinks she will like. When I give him the neighbor discount, He says, You do not have to do that. They are from Ohio, on their way to Sarasota to spend the rest of the winter with one of their 5 adult children. I gave him a list of shows and flea markets that they might enjoy on the way down. They are so sweet and an inspiration. He reaches over to check and see if she is warm enough, she holds his hand. He told me that never kissed her until they were engaged. He said that he will never forget that first kiss. My new heros
Rainy Monday
We just had to have one more rainy day. After all, we spent most of the weekend getting wet. Especially Mark, who spent all weekend selling outside , while I sold inside. This the only show that we do this at and it works well. It is not as much fun as when we get to work together. This morning, we cleaned out the R.V. and priced all the things that we bought. Mom says that all of us junkers just buy and sale to each other. Maybe so, but we are sure having fun. It is after lunch and Mark is taking a long nap. I am going to share some of my swap meet stories
