shopping spree and golf for me

We spent a week doing Vacation Bible School and we really enjoyed all of the kids. Mark abd I were leaders/guides for the 3rd grade. We spent the weekend with all of our kids and grandkids. I love spending time with them and watching them enjoy each other.Then it was time to go back to work. So, we left on a Tuesday and went shopping in Albany on the way to Lake Blackshere, where Mark took a nap and I read. Then we went to the golf course and hit a lot of range balls. and hit a few balls on the way back to camp. It was a 2 or 3 mile walk both ways to get to the course from camp ground. We cooked a late supper and went to bed tired after camp fire went out. The next day we walked back to the course and hit more balls and walked back for well deserved showers ,broke camp and went shopping again in Vienna and Mc Rae. We passed a lot of other towns that were to small to have anything. We got to Little Omogee state park and set up camp and went swimming and back to camp for early supper . Then we walked to golf course and played my first 7 real holes of golf. I got a bogey on my first hole. I hit the green on my first shot on a par three. I hit good shots and bad shots. We walked and only took 7 iron 3 wood and putter. Back to camp and sat out side until bed time. I hit more golf balls in two days than the rest of my life. Next day , we got up and priced items and went on a nature hike. On the way to Alma for blueberry festival we stopped by Hazelhurst thrift store and bought a lot of good stuff. Time to go to work and it is hot, now I know why we do not do too many festivals in the summer months.
