Put on the whole armor of God...daily

During our study this week, we were asked to turn to Ephesian 6:10-18 and to meditate on these verses.  I have always liked these verses and tried to memorize them so that I can start each day by putting on the Whole armor of God to protect myself from the wiles of the devil.  So, I came up with this cheer or song or exercise to try every day early in the morning. I will show it to my Tuesday ladies and see if they like it.

Here it goes.  Follow directions and imagine you are getting ready for your day.

{Hands on Hips}
Belt of Truth

{Hands crossed on chest}
Breast plate of Righteousness

{Touch your shoes}
shoes on - gospel prepared

{Fist holding shield in front}
Shield of Faith

{Hands on head}
Helmet of Salvation

{Extent arm  pointing sword}
sword of the spirit
{Extent other hand to form open  bible}
which is the word of God

{Bring hands in and fold in prayer}
and pray..pray without ceasing

Repeat until you know motions and what part of God;s armor they represent.
