The whole armor of God leads to victory

Ephesians  6:10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.
Ephesians  6:11 Put on the whole armor of God so that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the Devil.

1) Stand and put on the Belt of truth.
 Know truth, know  God. God is truth ..believe God.  You are a child of God.  Believe that  God loves you and you will not fall for the lies of the Devil, the Father of lies.

2) Put on the breastplate of righteousness
Protect your heart.  God knows what is best for us  and only wants the best for His children. Obey His will for your life and you will do what is right.  Guard your heart.

3) Put on your shoes and be ready to share the gospel of peace.
 It is important to be prepared, then ask God daily for an opportunity to share the good new of Jesus.  Something else to think about.  Shoes protect.  The devil is like a thorn in the foot.  But we can crush him every time we present the gospel.  The devil loves to keep us so self absorbed and busy that we are vulnerable. Do not under estimate the Devil, just be prepared.

4) The shield of faith
 Faith in God's love, the blood of Jesus and the power of the Holy Spirit is our shields  that protects us from the fiery darts of the devil. Satan  loves to tell us lies and make us doubt God's love for us, which brings us to a very important defensive weapon.

5) The helmet of Salvation
 To protect our mind, after all that is the battlefield. Are we filling our mind with mindless entertainment that open us up to the attack  by the enemy or with the word of God which is our best offensive weapon. Read Philippians 4:8

6) The sword of the Spirit - the word of God.
 This is our offensive weapon to use against our enemy , the devil. "That word have I hid in my heart, that I may not sin against thee."
  Jesus is our best example.  When He was led by the Spirit into the wilderness to the tempted by Satan for 40 days, He used scripture to defeat him and send Him away.

7) Prayer
  We are to pray at all time in the Spirit. Pray with out ceasing with an attitude of prayer that leads to a victorious life. Pray.

We can have an abundant life which is pleasing to God by putting on the whole armor of God daily.
