This morning we walked across a very busy, high bridge to where our suburban was towed yesterday. I do not like heavy traffic and Mark does not like heights. So, I was walking as close to the rail over looking the river and Mark was walking as for away from the rail as he could, even on the road when cars passed by. We made it across.
Our "new" vehicle needs a new transmission. The next move was to rent a car. The local car rental was a great hot pink and neon green building. It also had a hydro massage parlor, tanning beds, an exercise room and sold pretty stuff. The lady in charge said that she has seen us crossing over the bridge and decided to give us a good deal on our Honda accord. It is a perfect car for taking the curves of these Kentucky roads.
We got out of town around 11:00 and headed to Russell Springs. Talk to Shirley and had to make different arrangements for the August show. So glad that we came this way so that we could make it happen. We then went shopping and found a lot of good deals. Then we ate at a great Japanese place. We found a small hotel with a indoor pool and hot tub to relax in after a long day of work, aka shopping.
