why read proverbs

I love they Bible because it gives you the answer in the first few verses of proverbs

Proverbs are written:

So  that men may know wisdom and to understand words of insight.
 To receive instructions in wisdom, justice, judgement and living right.
To give insight to the simple.
To give knowledge and discretion to youth.
So that the wise will hear and increase learning
So that a man of understanding will acquire leadership skills
To be able to understand a proverb and interpret these nuggets of truth

Reverent fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge
Fools despise wisdom and instruction

My son hear the instruction of thy Father and do not reject your Mother's teaching
For what you learn from them will stand and it will gain you many honors

Wisdom is calling out to you.....Will you answer that call
