Chapter 13 is full of parables of Jesus. Here a few of them that you may want to read
He told the Parable of the sower, then explained it to the disciples and said, "He who has ears let him hear." He then gave the reason for speaking in parables to the disciples. He told several parables about the Kingdom:
good seeds and weeds
mustard seed
leaven
hidden treasures
pearls
net cast into the sea
When he finished the parables He went home where He was rejected. Honored everywhere else, but not in His home country by His own people. He did only a few miracles because of their unbelief.
