Love is kind

Kindness is the first trait that drew me to Mark when we were 16 and 17 years old, That, and the way he looked in cut-off jeans. Girls, if you want a good, watch how he treats his Mom and other senior ladies, because one day you will be that lady. The dictionary describes kindness as benevolent, good-natured, sympathetic and gentle. That is a pretty good description of my Mark. He always wants to help. When we finish setting up our booth, I can always find him helping our neighbors. Even when he was a small child, his 1st grade teacher said he would quickly get through with his work and jump up to help his friends. Mark is a gentleman. His Mama raised him right. In Greece I got to sit with a lot of Greek ladies on every bus ride, because, Mark will not sit down when a lady is standing. Random acts of kindness can make the day of people that you see every day. I call it a win-win situation, when you can bless others, you receive a blessing. Some call it pay it forward. This happens to us so often when we travel. When I looked up benevolence, it says, kind deeds or charity. They say charity begins at home. It is a shame that we often treat complete strangers better than the ones at home. Be ye kind is the 1st verse that many children learn. So, let's get back to basics. Be ye kind, one to another. Have a blessed day.
