Have you ever been around someone that makes you feel like you are walking on eggshells when you are around them. Someone with a chip on their is hard to be around. If someone says something that bothers you stop, take a breath, and respond, do not react. Their is a possibility that they were having a bad. Maybe you heard it wrong or they did not mean it the way you you heard. Even, if they did mean to offend, consider the source. Maybe that is just their nature. Life is too short to go around being offended all of the time . It is not good for you. Usually the person that offends never realizes that you are offended. You may need to talk them and straighten things out before you loose a friendship over a misunderstanding. Oscar the grouch is a great sesame street character, but would not be fun to live with. Remember, the saying, If mama ain't happy ain't nobody happy. Mom, You set the tone for the day for all of those around you. Try to send them off with a kind word and a good day. When my kid's were small and I would complain about them being bad all day, my Mom would ask me how do you feel today. She was right, I was the one who set the tone by waking up in a bad mood and the kid's caught my mood. That is when I started waking up early to have my quiet time before any one else got up to study my bible and pray.
